Georgia State gets a chance to prove it belongs at Diehard G6 Top 25 No. 2 James Madison
No G6 team plays a Power 4 opponent this week. The schedule is all G6, all week — topped by four matchups between teams ranked in the Diehard G6 Top 25.
Tim Stephens
There are no Power 4 opponents on the G6 schedule this week. For the first time this season, every game involving a Group of 6 team is against another G6 or FCS opponent. Conference play is in full swing.
The headline game in the Diehard G6 Top 25 is No. 14 Georgia State (4-1) at No. 2 James Madison (6-0) on Saturday at 11 AM CT. The Dukes are the only unbeaten G6 team and the first to clinch bowl eligibility. Georgia State enters with a 4-1 record after a bye week — and an 11.5-point spread that says the oddsmakers don't think this one will be close. A competitive performance — or an outright win — would change the conversation about the Panthers.
