The number
24 — Twenty-four commits, ranked No. 52 nationally and No. 1 in the Mountain West. Dan Mullen went 10-4 in his first season, won more games than any first-year coach in UNLV history, earned the Steve Spurrier First-Year Coach of the Year award — and turned that into a recruiting class that has changed the program's trajectory on the trail. Mullen has a class averaging 3.11 stars with a 60.1 average Profile grade and a 0.615 average PRO score.

Sign Up FreeMullen is building this class the way he built at Mississippi State and Florida — West Coast speed with size up front. Thirteen of the 24 commits are from California. Four are from Nevada. Two from Arizona. This is a West Coast recruiting footprint, and Mullen owns it.
The class is balanced across positions in a way that suggests long-term roster construction rather than emergency plugging. Seven defensive backs — three cornerbacks (Prince Staten, Emmanuel Moses, Azavier McDaniel), two safeties (Delorean Airall, Brett Smith) and two skill defenders (Delontay Williams, Jaden Mason) — anchor the secondary pipeline. Three defensive ends (Miko Greer, Gray Longoria, Cooper Cook), a defensive tackle (Kingston Williams) and an edge rusher (David Lee Jr.) stock the front. Two linebackers in Max Bates and Dylan Modena give Mullen depth at the second level.
The skill talent is where the name recognition lives. Donovan McNabb Jr. (5-10, 160, Brophy Prep Jesuit, Phoenix) — son of the six-time Pro Bowl quarterback — committed as a wide receiver with 20 offers and a 72.39 Profile grade. The younger McNabb chose UNLV from among 20 offers. Delijah Matthews (6-0, 205, Carl Albert, Midwest City, Okla.) is a running back with 11 offers and leads a three-back haul that includes Kash Schwab (5-11, 180, Bridgeland, Cypress, Texas) and Adonyae Brown (5-11, 225, Archbishop Riordan, San Francisco). Delontay Williams (6-1, 180, Mount Miguel, Spring Valley, Calif.) is the highest-graded skill commit at 74.42.
The offensive line is addressed with four commits — Phoenix Pollard (6-6, 350, Coronado, Henderson, Nev.), the earliest commit in the class, plus Laseth Bryant (6-4, 295, Centennial, Las Vegas), Braydenn Mercer (6-5, 285, Sierra Canyon, Chatsworth, Calif.) and AJ Talaoloa (6-3, 300, De La Salle, Concord, Calif.). Pollard is a local product from Henderson — Mullen keeping Las Vegas talent home.
Luke Farrell (6-5, 195, Corona Del Sol, Tempe, Ariz.) is the class's quarterback. At 6-5 with a 71.21 Profile grade, 10 offers and a 0.718 PRO score, Farrell gives Mullen a prototypical passer to develop behind whoever runs the offense in 2026.
